The conductor of the Philharmonic Choir

Michael Bojesen has been the conductor of the Philharmonic Choir Aalborg since 2023.

Since graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in 1984, Michael Bojesen has been a highly sought-after choral and orchestral conductor.

He has led ensembles such as the Chamber Choir Camerata, the Sankt Annæ Gymnasium Choir, and the DR Girls' Choir. As a freelance conductor, he has collaborated with many of the country’s professional ensembles and symphony orchestras, including DR Big Band, DR Vocal Ensemble, and the Royal Danish Orchestra, among others. Thus, the Philharmonic Choir is guided by a conductor of exceptional experience.
